Google @ AfroTech

AfroTech is a three-day professional development conference and one of the largest multicultural tech conferences in the United States. Bringing roughly 10,000 engineers, entrepreneurs, and culture enthusiasts together annually, the event connects attendees with influencers and leaders in the start-up and tech communities.

A sponsor of the event since 2016, Google's approach was to facilitate a hospitality and networking branded space to engage with conference attendees and local talent. Google's space consisted of an outdoor tented area just outside the Oakland Convention Center featuring product activation areas, lounge spaces, a speaker stage, DJ booth, and more.
